Lord Xilro finally staggered into the staff room hours later, looking bleary eyed and tired, like he hadn't rested in days.

"She finally leave." He said, collapsing into his seat.

"You look pretty done in, Xilro. What happened?" Taenya asked.

"Horrible woman with horrible ideas." Xilro answered. "Too much touch."

Taenya's eyes grew wide and she rushed to change the subject before anyone else caught on.

"So, Sarah, care to get everyone up to speed on our new school of magic?" Taenya asked.

"Yes, I've read over the notes Lady Neptis left us, and it seems straightforward enough. It's fueled by blood, like a fireplace is fueled by wood. Whose blood doesn't seem to be important, just that there's blood." Sarah started.
