Part 4
Rebecca strode down the halls of the ancient castle, her creation magic overflowing as it assisted the angry spirits of the valley in tearing it apart, piece by piece. When she at last reached the study, she found the Count huddled on his chair, shaking.
"Your day of judgement has come at last, Titus." Rebecca said, vines shooting from all directions as they bound him immediately.
"You!" Titus shouted, recognizing Rebecca. "Rebecca Montague! Back in 657!"
"Oh, I'm sorry but Montague was a quite fake name. You probably would have killed me on the spot if I had given you my real name, thinking I was a spy. No, I am Duchess Rebecca Ashe."
"You're right, I should have killed you." Titus answered, struggling against the vines in vain.
"You know, for such an old vampire you're really weak." Victoria stated, walking up to him. "I punched your gate open but you can't even make the Duchess's vines move an inch. Hey Duchess why is Titus such a wimp?"
"Because he's pathetic. So much for the oh so powerful Count who thought he was so smart turning the frightened thief he caught into a vampire 118 years ago. You were the agent of your own undoing, Count." Rebecca said, staring at him icily. "Victoria, make his death as slow as possible."
"Oh ho ho, with pleasure, Duchess! Hey Titus, you ever wonder if it's possible to break your dick? Like the same way you break a bone?" Victoria asked, licking her lips. "Oh oh do you think vampire healing factor can regrow fingers? How about it, Titus?"
Rebecca walked off toward the study as Victoria kept asking Titus more and more depraved questions, and was almost out of earshot when she heard the first scream from him. Oh, Victoria was turning out quite evil, wasn't she? Anton and Marie was a good investment. Walking through the halls of the castle as she demolished them with the forces of nature, she eventually found Lyman waiting for him.
"Thank you for taking this time to see me, Duchess. I have a most selfish request of you." Lyman said, bowing deeply.
"I'll decide if it's selfish." Rebecca answered. "I know you're a vampire, but who are you?"
"The very first one." Lyman answered. "I am who many vampires and scholars refer to as The Nobleman."
"You." Rebecca said, the very air in the room chilling as she said it.
"Yes, me. My request is simple. Kill me." Lyman stated. "Release me from this eternal torment that I have been too cowardly to take my own life from."
Rebecca was positively giddy at the prospect of taking out her rage on the one man responsible for vampirism to begin with.
"In any manner I wish?" Rebecca asked, a smile starting to creep across her face. "No matter how long it takes?"
Rebecca didn't even wait for Lyman to answer before she began. This was too perfect, revenge on Titus and revenge on The Nobleman, at the same time no less. It was at the 2 hour mark that she realized maybe she just really loved torturing people, more than anything.
"I should have become a torturer." Rebecca said out loud. "What do you think Lyman? Am I good at this?"
Lyman screamed in response.
"Oh, I guess you can't really answer anyway."
At the 7 hour mark, Victoria finally joined Rebecca in what was left of the dining hall.
"He was a wimp, Duchess. Didn't even last a full night before expiring. I tortured grannies with more stamina. Who's this guy?"
"The Nobleman. The first vampire or so he claimed. Either way he's like a teenage boy. Enough stamina to go for days. We'll take him home with us." Rebecca said, smiling.
