Vordea

Ironhand 9877, An unknowable place

Vordea gently held Eigengrau while she cried. Despite their disagreements, Eigengrau was truly her best friend, and had been for many trillions of years. To see Eigengrau like this, it hadn't been for at least 830 kalpas, when Eigengrau cried in her arms when she finally saw Vordea again. After a long period of time, Eigengrau's wails were quiet, and she mumbled something.

"Did you say something?" Vordea asked.

"I am ready to tell you." Eigengrau said, wiping away tears. "What will happen."

"There's no need to rush things, Eigen." Vordea said sweetly, still hugging Eigengrau.

"No, this must be done. What I have seen, I did not dare repeat in front of the others. A rotten world and a heart of guilt." Eigengrau said, her voice still wavering.

Vordea's expression changed, and she looked Eigengrau directly in the eyes before speaking. "Are you certain?"

"Completely. Without James Hargrave, ruin will come. Only he can prevent it from coming to pass. Not even divine intervention can replace it." Eigengrau said, a look of determination on her normally stoic face.

"This is far more serious than I first thought." Vordea said, standing up again. "I'm suspending the rules."

"What?"

"Direct divine intervention into James Hargrave's life is hereby approved, permanently. By every God, in order for the worst possible future to be avoided." Vordea said, clapping her hands together, causing her great white chains to screech as they held back a titanic force. "We need to talk to a memory, though."

"Of course. I will retrieve her." Eigengrau said, nodding.
