Part 1

As the ship pulled in to the dock at Palisade Bay, James could see Harrod waiting for him at the docks. He looked as jovial as ever, and when he spotted James he waved at him.

“Go on James, Emma, I’ll arrange for the luggage.” Jakob said to the two youngsters, ushering them towards the gangway.

“Come on Emma!” James called as he ran down the gangway to the docks, and into the arms of Harrod.

“Welcome back James, how was the trip?” Harrod asked, his smile as broad as ever.

“It was great, I can’t wait to tell you all about it.” James said enthusiastically.

“Well come on along both of you, I actually have someone who’s been waiting at the Inn all week for you James.”

“Really? Who is it?” James asked as they walked along the dock.

“That’s a surprise, but I think Emma will want to meet them too. Come on Emma.”

“I’ll beat you there, James!” Emma called, running past him.

“Hey!” James yelled, running after her. Harrod could only laugh at their energy even after such a long journey.
