Divine Intervention

Five Hours After Release

It was only by sheer coincidence that Eigengrau ever found out what Amy did. One of the many who died in the city had a special soul that had to be collected personally, and when Eigengrau arrived, she discovered a silent city, toxic with the stench of Amy's horrific biological weapon.

"Amaranth, what have you done." Eigengrau whispered, shocked by the devastation. She hadn't seen anything like this in thousands of kalpas, and the fact the bodies were melted sludge deeply concerned her. "No, this cannot spread. Graznavia!Tempus Prohibere!"

A grey spot in the sky appeared, and slowly at first it spread until the city was completely enclosed. From that point, time never flowed again in Port Nautitus. Satisfied, Eigengrau immediately stepped away to retrieve the other Gods, as the profane work Amy had done here was well beyond the power of a simple mortal and so investigations and interventions must be made.

Crystal Halls

Eigengrau was relieved both Agbus and Vordea were in the Crystal Halls when she arrived, as it would save her precious time in looking for Vordea. The angels however, were quite surprised at her arrival.

"Eigengrau! What are you doing here?" One of them practically shouted, drawing the attention of other angels, who immediately came over.

"There has been an incident." Eigengrau answered, her voice slightly wavering on the edge of emotion. "Where are Vordea and Agbus?"

The angels looked at each other, as if nobody wanted to be the one to interrupt whatever they did when Vordea came to the Crystal Halls. Eigengrau chose to say nothing, and simply looked expectantly at the gathered angels, until eventually one of them relented.

"In the Crystal Library."

Eigengrau nodded and walked off, paying no further attention to the angels, who began to whisper at her departure, curious as to why Eigengrau was here.

When Eigengrau arrived at the Library, she first tried the door, which was locked. Of course, she thought. She walked several paths, and determined the best solution was the simplest, and after carefully taking off her gloves, she touched the door, and it simply ceased to exist, confronted with the overwhelming power of the God of Death. She smiled as Vordea practically jumped up, and put her gloves back on.

"Eigengrau! What the fuck? I'm in the middle of something!" Vordea shouted, covering up her body.

"Vordea, Agbus, there has been an incident. I had to invoke Graznavia.a local time stop." Eigengrau explained, paying no mind to the fact that Vordea wasn't wearing a shirt. "I am invoking Article 1, Vordea. Meet me at the front gates of Port Nautitus, both of you."

"Eigen what's going on?" Vordea asked, but Eigengrau shook her head and left immediately.

"It seems playtime is over, dear." Agbus said as he put his robe back on. "We can pick this up later."

"You should be more concerned, Agbus." Vordea replied, as she searched her memory. Eigengrau had never invoked Article 1 in all of time, not that she had knowledge of. Even during the War in Heaven, she didn't.

The Hissing Lobster

Eigengrau would have preferred to not involve Vaust at all, but Article 1 meant every God was now involved, Primal or otherwise. Waiting for a quiet moment, Eigengrau motioned at Vaust, who came over to her seat.

"Vaust, there has been an incident. I am invoking Article 1. I am sorry to say but you will have to close the Inn for some time. If you know of any local minor Gods, bring them with you."

"What's going on? To where?" Vaust asked, concern evident in his house.

"Meet me at the main gates of Port Nautitus."

"Understood. I'll make sure every minor God on Karand ends up there. What about Xellma?" Vaust answered, snapping his fingers.

"Her power is growing that rapidly?" Eigengrau asked, to which Vaust replied with a nod. "Very well, make sure she attends as well. Do you know where Sargon and Zalas are?"
