The Release

The communication room at Point Thoryn was silent as they listened in horror to what Amy Waters said. Everyone was dead, down to the last.

"Major Waters, do you require any assistance?" The radioman eventually asked.

"This city will be my tomb as well, soldier." Amy replied on the radio. "Avenge us all, and destroy the enemy. I go now to join my husband. Major Waters, signing off."

"Major?" The radioman asked, but there was no reply.

"Sir, what do we do?" The radioman asked, looking up at the Captain.
