Part 2
Xellma decided to arrive outside of Dragonpost. As she walked up the road to The University, which was situated well outside of city limits, she spotted detection runes on the road. They had the standard ones, dragon, divine, vampire, and even werewolf, but nothing for Demons. She would make them regret that oversight.
Of course, it seemed that didn't matter, as she noticed she was triggering the divine detection runes, probably due to the blood of Vordea in her body. Then she noticed she was triggering everything else too. Curious. Being in her mortal disguise would at least buy her valuable minutes to talk to the Professors to get the mages to back down, without resorting to Queen's Orders. She heard shouting from The University, as mages rushed out to intercept her, and much to her surprise, the Headmaster was at the front of the pack.
"Halt!" Headmaster Lutz Bussler shouted, as a multilayer barrier began to form around the both of them. "You will go no further."
"Dispel." Xellma stated dispassionately, and the barrier fell apart, high level mortal magic no match for demonic rune magic. "Headmaster, I am here to speak with you privately."
"Stay away from the Headmaster!" A mage shouted, as many of the students crowded in front of him, not letting Xellma see even a glimpse of his face, much to her annoyance. She wanted to know how he had reacted to his spell falling apart.
"Everybody let's calm down." Xellma said, holding her hands up in front of her. "I'm not here to hurt any of you, quite the opposite in fact. But first, please tell the Professor to stop trying to teleport knives into me, that won't work." Xellma ripped open her shirt to reveal more than a dozen knives sticking out of her, much to the gasps of the students. "I don't have organs to injure and it just tickles."
Xellma slowly pulled out each knife for dramatic effect, licking the blood off each one, dropping them to the ground in turn. At this point, Professor Shotbolt and Crown Princess Valmaris had arrived to the growing commotion at the front entrance, and intervened.
"Headmaster what the hell are you doing?" Sarah Shotbolt demanded, gesturing at Xellma, who decided to quietly watch this conversation.
"What are you talking about?" Lutz asked. "Frankly I'm not sure who this unwanted guest is, but they set off every single detection rune."
"That's a demon you idiot!" Sarah shouted. "And if I'm right, based on the lack of an aura, that's the fucking Demon Queen!"
"Disperse! All of you!" Taenya shouted as she ran up from the gardens. "I know a demon when I see one! Gibbs!"
Walter nodded and snapped his fingers, teleporting every single student in the courtyard away to the dorms, leaving behind only Xellma, Walter, Taenya, Lutz, and Sarah.
"Now that this little farce is over, I suppose an introduction is warranted." Xellma said, chuckling. "I am Demon Queen Xellma. Your Professor is remarkably well informed."
"D-Demon Queen?" Walter stammered, coming to a realization of who he had been messing with.
"Let's get to the point. Why are you here?" Taenya asked. "I know how demons work."
"Don't rush me, Scissor Leaf." Xellma glowered. "I happen to know how creation magic actually works. Suffice to say, you've been doing it all wrong."
"What did you just say?" Taenya asked, suddenly getting very close to Xellma. "What do you mean how it actually works?"
"I must echo her. What do you mean, actually works?" Lutz asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Let's reconvene somewhere a bit more private." Xellma suggested. "You may be quite interested in what I have to say."
