Part 2

King Xolarand couldn't believe his eyes. It really was her, the demons weren't bullshitting him after all. Old Tick Tock herself, after thousands of years.

"Sirene Ignitis!" King Xolarand thundered, standing up immediately. "I am beyond honoured to have such an individual grace me with their presence!"

"You too huh?" Sirene said, shaking her head. "What is with you guys?"

"We've been reading your growing file for a very long time, and are intrigued by it. However, your file is far too large to be judged." Xolarand said, having composed himself. "So we're going to do this a bit different. Queen Xellma is already on her way."

"Oh I've heard of her. Quite the mischief maker." Sirene said as she looked around the room. A bit plain, but it suited the Demon King, she supposed.

"I suppose you could call me that, Tick Tock." Xellma answered, curling up out of Sirene's shadow, gently caressing Sirene's body as she did so. "I'm surprised, you know. Didn't know you could die. Who did it?"

"Eigengrau." Sirene answered, thinking back.

"You piss her off that much?" Xellma said with a snort.

"Hardly. Turns out she made a mistake, and I was supposed to die when I was 19, not when I was 2483." Sirene explained. "No, I wasn't aware Eigengrau can make mistakes either."

"Well, I had hoped I'd never see you again, but here you are again. It's been 97 years since the last meeting, but again you cross my path." Xellma sighed, annoyed with Sirene as usual.

"Again? Have we met?" Sirene asked, puzzled. She figured she'd remember meeting a horned demon with breasts this big.

Xellma snapped her fingers, and donned her mortal guise. "Now do you remember me?" She asked.

"Holy shit Becky?" Sirene said, laughing. "No way, you're a fucking demon?"

Xellma very nearly whipped Sirene right then and there, but reminded herself she had yet to face judgement. Instead she didclosed somethingher she knew Sirene hated, eyes and tookbreathed off her shirt, showing off her ample chest, before coming up to Sirene and rubbing up against herdeeply for several seconds. Sirene'sThere eyewere twitched, damned butsouls she saidcould nothing. Satisfied, Xellma puttake her shirtrage backout on.on later. Right now the Hero of Karand needed to be judged.

"Sirene, I conversed with several Gods before coming here, including both Royal Void and Dead Fish, and we unanimously agreed that due to Dead Fish's mistake, your judgement is clean. You are sentenced to 0 years, even in spite of your hundreds of suicide attempts. You always tried to live your life to make the world a slightly better place every day, even if you didn't always succeed." Xellma said, pacing back and forth. "You helped untold numbers of people throughout your long life, such as Syndra Valmaris, Rebecca Ashe, and even the Gods. You tried to guide Neptis Celeste down a better path, though you did not succeed. Even with all the setbacks and the overwhelming suicidal despair in your heart, you committed yourself to making Karand a kinder and gentler place, for even if you could not smile and truly mean it, maybe somebody else could, thanks to your actions. You were friend and at times lover to so many different people, though you could never bear children of your own. Looking through your file, I am stunned at all the selfless acts you made throughout your life, to be honest." Xellma stopped, and approached Sirene. "You were the best of us. The human race, I mean. You showed the entire world what a single human could do, when they put their mind to it. Your reputation was quite unearned, and borne out of a fear of the other, rather than who you were as a person. In the 300s, you even attempted to teach at The University, despite how terrible of a teacher you were. Even now, in 867 when I spoke to him, Xilro the Flamemaster remembered your brief tenure fondly, despite how ridiculous it was. Let none say that you were a wicked person, for you were the closest thing to an Angel that Karand ever had."

It was at this point Agbus walked in, accompanied by two people Sirene had waited nearly 2500 years to see again, her parents. Sirene was so stunned she couldn't speak, and had tears in her eyes.

"Gallus, Vesuvia, she's been waiting a very long time to see you both again." Agbus said. "Go and greet your daughter."

Gallus and Vesuvia slowly went up and hugged their daughter, overcome with joy at finally being reunited with her after so many long centuries apart.

"Take her up to the Crystal Halls, Shining Light. Hell's no place for a soul that pure." Xellma said.

"I'm sad to say that the Crystal Halls cannot sustain the souls of the dead like Hell, Xellma. Take her somewhere quiet down here. It's what she deserves. Give her the life she was denied." Agbus answered, shaking his head.

Xellma nodded, and glanced back over at Sirene. She was still hugging her parents, her eyes full of tears, as if she couldn't believe the day had finally come.

"Come on Sirene, it's time to go home." Xellma said, placing her hand on Sirene's shoulder. "I'll take all 3 of you."

Throughout all of this, Vordea had arrived quietly and listened in, while standing behind Xolarand the entire time. She was quite happy with Xellma, and Agbus for agreeing to come in place of herself. Once Xellma and Sirene left, she stepped out from behind Xolarand.

"I'm so proud of her." She said, walking up to Agbus and holding his hand.

"Which one?" Agbus asked, raising an eyebrow. "Xellma gave a beautiful speech, and Sirene was a truly magnificent human."

"Both of them, I guess. Xellma fulfilled her duty perfectly, even to someone she never liked. This is why she was the perfect candidate. Sirene should have never suffered for so long."

"Indeed. But I detect the subtle hand of Eren in this." Agbus pondered.

"I'll talk to them later. For now, let's go." Vordea said, wrapping her arm around Agbus's, before they both faded from sight.

"Peace for Old Tick Tock. I never thought I would see the day." Xolarand mused out loud, now that he was alone.
