Part 1
“Hamlin, a word?” Rebecca suddenly asked from inside the coffin as the sun was beginning to set. They were through Dragonbone Pass and less than 2 hours from Dragonpost.
“Yes, Rebecca?” Hamlin responded, not breaking pace.
“We can’t go directly to the University.” she stated, with some urgency in her voice.
“Hey who’s hand is that?” Another female voice called out from inside the coffin.
“That’s mine Vicky, I’m thinking.” Rebecca responded. “Hamlin, take us to an inn.”
“Well think with it somewhere else!” Victoria angrily answered, and the sound of a slap could be heard. Marv smirked, but Hamlin ignored the commotion and continued.
“You have one in mind I assume?”
“Of course I do. The Hanged Man. Marv can give you directions. Right Marv?” Rebecca asked, yelling.
“Right you are, Boss!” Marv answered back from his horse.
“How long until sunset, Hamlin?” Rebecca asked.
“Right now, actually. The sun’s below the mountains now.” Hamlin replied. “Let’s stop briefly.”
Hamlin motioned for the rest of the party to stop. He took the coffin down from his shoulder and placed it gently on the ground. Opening the lid, the 3 vampires inside looked back at him. Rebecca was naked, sporting a red mark on her face, but was grinning. Victoria looked cross and was covering her chest with her arms, and was the first to get up, practically springing out. Serge looked weary and morose, as if slowly realizing the mistake he had made last night.
“Boss, your clothes...” Marv said, looking away.
“Good question Marv.” Rebecca said, looking down. “Vicky where are my clothes?”
“How should I know you... you... pervert!” Vicky shouted back. “Feeling up a girl first thing in the... evening!”
Victoria shouted at Rebecca for several minutes before she ran out of things to be mad about, and stopped, panting. Rebecca found and retrieved her clothes from beneath Serge, who was by now sitting up in the coffin but still silent. After Rebecca finished dressing, she slapped Serge on the back.
“Lots of fire in that girl, huh?” she asked him. He simply nodded. “Silent type huh? Or are you just still processing the fact I accidentally made you a hideous abomination of nature?”
“Yes.” He quietly said.
“Talk with your girl in your own time, Serge.” Rebecca advised, sticking a finger in her mouth. She paused, took it back out, looked at Victoria, looked at her hand, looked over at Victoria again, and got a huge grin on her face.
“What are you happy about now you groper?” Victoria asked Rebecca. She would soon regret that question, as Rebecca walked over.
“Smell my hand, Vicky.” Rebecca said, moving it near her face.
“What sort of game is this?”
“Smell it, Vicky.”
Victoria sniffed Rebecca’s hand and a dawning horror came over her face. Victoria turned several shades of red as Marv whispered to Jack about what happened, Rebecca fell to the ground in laughter, and Heather tried to hide inside her clothes from the secondhand embarrassment.
