Part 2

Neptis did not care for the so-called God who just entered the Inn. He looked weak, barely able to defend himself, and she made that known immediately.

"You look pathetic. Can you even fight?" Neptis demanded, walking up to him.

"Neptis..." Vaust began, starting to get up.

"Hold." Sargon said, placing a hand on Vaust's shoulder.

"Does the ocean look dangerous from the surface?" Thalassius asked, his voice smooth as silk. He lunged at Neptis without warning, his trident aimed at her throat. She looked surprised, but knocked it away and disarmed him with her bare hands.

Neptis picked up the trident, and handed it back to him.

"Again." She said, getting in a fighting stance.

Thalassius seemed to understand, and attacked Neptis again, and was disarmed again. And again. And again. For nearly 30 minutes Thalassius and Neptis sparred, until he managed to cause a small cut on Neptis's cheek.

Neptis put up her hand, and shook her head, returning to her seat. Once she was seated, she closed her eyes and nodded.

"You pass."

"Then by my right as supreme Goddess of Creation, As the Mother of all Life, I name Thalassius the God of the Sea for all time. You are an Inner God, your life extends beyond the end of time." Vordea said, the room shaking as she did so.

"By the hands of time you are eternal. You are an abyss. Until eternity is satisfied you will linger. Beyond this kalpa and into the next you will reach." Eigengrau stated, causing a divine casting circle to appear around Thalassius.

"A promotion. Haven't seen one of these in a long time." Agbus said, chuckling slightly.
