It’s begun.” Vordea suddenly said while lounging in The Hissing Lobster. “Vaust, it’s begun!” she yelled to the Innkeeper.

“What-” Vaust began but was cut off.

“Confirmed. Apotheosis has started.” Eigengrau replied, appearing in a flash of light.

“So, it’s come to pass?” Agbus asked, stepping through the front door. “She really did it.”

“Hang on, what’s going on?” Vaust demanded.

“Little Neptis has done it. She’s become a God.” Vordea said, beaming with pride. “Well, she’s becoming one.” Vordea quickly corrected, as she began to have body integrity issues, her arms turning semi-liquid, leaving black puddles all over the floor. “Oh, this is new.”

“What’s happening to her?” Vaust asked, concerned.

“Her power is being remoulded. Neptis is taking her most powerful purview, war.” Agbus responded, removing his hands from his robes. “Darling, you’re inking all over the floor.”

“Oh we’re only just-” Vordea began, before turning entirely liquid and dropping onto the floor with a splash. Agbus raised his eyebrows.

“That was unexpected.” Eigengrau stated. “Though not entirely so.”
