Part 2

Liddell listened intently as the grotesque forest monsters told her of what was being planned. She considered them her children, and they responded in kind.

"So, they want to kill me?" She said out loud, her stitches popping as she smiled. "Oh we'll see about that, won't we children?"

Liddell stepped out of Gustav's cabin, and placed her hand on the ground. What remained of the grass near the cottage withered away immediately, and the nearby trees began to look sickly.

"Don't count on it, Sirene. The Gods will not decide my fate, I will. I'll destroy this whole world if I have to."

Liddell knelt and pet the small stitched monster next to her, and smiled. It responded by grabbing her hand and running off with it.

"Oh not again! Come back!" Liddell shouted at it, running after it as more stitches on her popped and cracked. As her legs fell apart and she fell to the ground, she sighed. She wouldn't see her hand for days. She set herself on sticking her legs back together for now.
